How Do I install the Ad Code on My Site?
It is difficult for us to tell you exactly how to insert your ad code, as the process will be different for everyone depending on the setup of their site. But
essentially you need to insert the ad code into the HTML source of your website. You can simply paste the code anywhere within the >body< of your source. Then when
you
reload your page you should see our ads appear. There are many potential ways you could access this source; depending on your site it is also possible you are not given
access to your source if you have an affiliate website or something similar. Generally, it is simple a text document on your web server that contains the HTML of your
site, in which case you can simply paste in the code and save the file. If you have any further questions we will do our best to assist.
I would like to know if it is possible to post the ad on a Different Website?
It is perfectly acceptable to host our ads on a different site than the one you are advertising for; we have sites do that on our network all the time.
How do I get my website status off of Dormant?
In order to have your advertisement displayed on our Network of websites, you must display ads on your own site and your website status must be set to Active. In order
to make sure that everyone is abiding by these rules, your website will start off as being Dormant. In order to set it Active, you must insert your personal Ad Code into
the HTML of your website. Once you do this, our servers will recognize that you are actively participating and set your status to Active. If you remove the Ad Code, or
fail to display Ads on your site for a significant amount of time, we will set your status to Dormant and stop displaying your advertisement on other sites. Again, we
have to this system in place to enforce participation in our community and to discourage freeloading promoters from trying to take advantage of the honest users. If you
have pasted the Ad Code and your site is still Dormant, there are a couple possible solutions. First, make sure you visit the page with your ad code, as your site only
becomes Active after your ad code is loaded. Second, make sure the ad code is formatted just as it is when you copied it. If the code is all on one line, or your sid is
not set to the right site id, then the ad code will not work. If none of these solutions help, go ahead and contact us for further help.
